During one month the volunteers Maya and Austin together with the community around Majengo library have managed to build a chimney solar dryer. The dryer is designed to provide efficient drying even in hazy or partly cloudy conditions. Constructing the dryer is simple, and it can be built from low-cost locally sourced materials.

Bookfeeding, together with the community of Kuni Village in the Eastern Cape, South Africa have started the initial stages of building a library within the local school – Kuni Primary School. Members of this community have enthusiastically taken the steps towards realising their dream of having a library by starting the ‘Donate a Brick’ initiative.
